2nd IAEA Technical Meeting Divertor Concepts. Programme and Book of Abstracts

Description

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) fosters the exchange of scientific and technical results in nuclear fusion research and development through its series of Technical Meetings and workshops. The Second Technical Meeting on Divertor Concepts (DC 2017) was held from 13 to 16 November 2017 in Suzhou, China. The objective of the meeting was to provide a forum for discussing open physics and technology issues associated with conventional and alternative divertors as complete concepts for controlling plasma-wall interaction while providing optimal conditions for core fusion performance. The meeting aimed at fostering, in particular, discussions of the state of the art and solutions for different power exhaust problems.
