Coherent states and symmetry breaking in superfluid 4He

Description
Symmetry breaking by the phenomenological disappearance of phase invariance in superfluidity is exploited to study the formation of coherent states in phonon region of superfluid 4He. The creation of higher excitation visualized from phonons in the system is discussed. (author)
