Chromium furnace loss on alloying structural steel in oxygen convertors

Description

An investigation has been made into the factors affecting chromium assimilation by converter steel on alloying. The degree of assimilation has been shown to depend mainly on the manganese content in steel. The model of chromium - manganese ratio at combined alloying has been obtained. The investigation has been carried out in 250-t oxygen top-blown converter on melting steels types 35Kh, 40Kh, 16KhG, 12KhN, 19KhGS, 10KhSND, 15KhSND
