Euclidean character of equilibria
Description
The approximations of equilibria by the finite step method are proved to generate an Euclidean space when the curvature tensor is zero on a magnetic surface. Indeed, the non-zero components of this tensor are related by a mixed differential system with respect to the independent variable phi labelling the magnetic surfaces. This system which is obtained from Blanchi equations, is reducible to order four. It may be used to estimate the curvature defects resulting from round-off error in numerical equilibrium computations

On demontre que les approximations de l'equilibre par la methode des accroissements finis engendrent un espace euclidien lorsque le tenseur de courbure est nul sur une surface magnetique. En effet, les composantes non nulles de tenseur sont reliees par un systeme differentiel mixte par rapport a la variable independante des surfaces magnetiques. Ce systeme, obtenu a partir des equations de Blanchi, se reduit a l'ordre 4. Il permet d'estimer les defauts de courbure inherents a la precision du calcul numeriqueFiles
