Detection of products of n-carboxylation of N1-substituted 5-aminoimidazoles in aqueous of potassium bicarbonate
Description
This communication is devoted to the chemical synthesis of N1-substituted 5-aminoimidazoles and the study of the reversible carboxylation of these compounds by the methods of UV and NMR spectroscopy. The formation of products of N-carboxylation from N1-substituted 5-aminoimidazoles in aqueous solutions of potassium bicarbonate was recorded. It was suggested that carbamates of this type are formed as intermediate compounds in the chemical and enzymatic carboxylation of N1(5-0-phospho-β-D-ribofuranosyl)-5-aminoimidazole
