Description

In this abstract we communicate the nature and magnitude of the thermal expansion or compressibilities of a zircon type ThGeO4. The sample was synthesized by solid state reaction of dry ThO2 and GeO2 and characterized by powder X-ray and neutron diffraction at non ambient temperature and pressure. The lattice dynamical calculations were carried out to support these results
