Uranium metallogeny of Kazakhstan, its ecological consequences and methods of overcoming

Description
Kazakhstan is characterized by extremely tense of radioecological situation, which determining natural and technogene factors: landing impurity by artificial radionuclides from numerous nuclear explosions on territory of Semipalatinsk polygon and series other nuclear incidents; higher radiation hum in regions, holdings uranium-ore and thorium-rare-metal provinces, ore regions and separate areas of development rocks with higher radioactivity; availability great number of location radioactive infection in the form of radioactive dump ground of rocks and waste waters with geological exploration and exploitation works at formation of uranium, oil, coal, polymetal and rare-earth; spreading natural subsoil and ground waters with higher contents of radionuclides in regions of developing hydrogen locations of uranium. In zones of radiation influencing objects with raised content radionuclides exist about 13 % all territory of Kazakhstan, which compile about 350 thousands km2 it area and exceeding area of Semipalatinsk polygon, which compiling 18.5 thousands km2, 19 times. On previous calculations in regions with higher radiations, living about 1 mln. people, that require deeper researching of influence higher radiation hum on their health. Natural sources of higher radiation: Uranium-ore and rare-metal provinces; Ground waters of Uranium-ore provinces and artesian basins; Pedigreed radioactive anomalies; Exhibition radon-isolation. In Kazakhstan numerous sources of radon waters, location of which, as a rule, determine presence of higher radioactive rocks (enriched of uranium, radium) with magmatic formation. Thechnogenic radioactive objects: Nuclear polygons; Departures of nuclear reactors; Departures of mining and reprocessing uranic ores; Surface and ground pollution, as a result using of ground waters; Departures of mining and reprocessing of non-uranium ores; Departures of using isotopic productions
