Description
The standardized general dimensions as recommended in this standard will facilitate the planning and construction of shielding rooms in which master-slave manipulators as specified in this standard are to be used, as well as the interchangeability of these instruments. It will also help to shorten the time of delivery in the initial supply of maser-slave manipulators for these rooms and in the supply of replacement parts. (orig.)

Durch die in dieser Norm empfohlenen vereinheitlichten Haupabmessungen werden die Projektierung und der Bau von Schutzraeumen, in denen mit Parallel-Manipulatoren nach dieser Norm gearbeitet werden soll, und die Austauschbarkeit der Geraete untereinander erleichtert. Ausserdem sollen bei der Erstausstattung solcher Schutzraeume mit Parallel-Manipulatoren und der Ersatzteilbeschaffung die Lieferzeiten verkuerzt werden. (orig.)Additional details
