On some properties of rare earth double oxides with phombic perovskite structure

Description
The kinetics of moisture absorption and electrophysical properties of rare earth double oxides of the LaLn0,L3 (where Ln=Y, Dy, Ho, Tm, Yb, Lu, Er), CeLuO3, PrLuO3 and NdLU03 composition are studied. The temperature dependences of specific volume electrical resistance of the compounds are determined. All the studied compounds are found to have a negative resistance coefficient in the 25-500 deg C temperature range. The calculated coefficients of temperature sensitivity, temperature resistance coefficients and conductivity activation energies are given. Luminescent properties of LaYO3 and LaLuO3 activated with Nd3+, Pr3+, Tm3+, Er3+, Ho3+ (1 wt.%) and Eu3+ (5 wt.%) ions are also studied. The corresponding luminescence spectra are presented
