On the measurement of the hadronic contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment

Description
A new precise measurement of σ(e+e-→ hadrons) at low energy is suggested, of particular relevance for the theoretical prediction of aμ. The method proposed consists in colliding o(from 10 to 100 MeV) electrons from a superconducting linac with o(from 1 to 2 GeV) positron of a conventional storage ring
