Spectrophotometric study of complexing of monoazodyes with some metal ions
Description
Reaction of two monoazodyes with various metal was studied by spectrophotometric method. Individual character of the prepared complexes of dyes was controlled by thin layer chromatography. Optical density of solutions of the complexes versus pH vas measured. Optical density of the solutions decreases essentially with respect to an original value at the formation of the comlexes. The absorption spectra of solutions of the dyes and complexes were recorded. All absorption maxima of the complexes are shifted bathochromically from the starting dyes. For isomolar series the aqueous solutions of the dye and the salt of the same concentration were mixed antibatically (from 1:10 to 10:1) at the same total volume and concentration
