First ATLAS results on charm production

Description
First results on charm production in √(s)=7 TeVpp collisions with the ATLAS detector at the LHC are presented. The reconstruction method for D mesons is described and results for D*, D± and Ds are presented using 1.4 nb-1 of integrated luminosity collected from March until May 2010.
