Reference sample for testing a laser welding installation and process for utilisation
Description
The reference assembly comprises a sample tube in which is lodged a sample sleeve. The sample tube has at least three grooves cut axially in its outer surface and having different depths. The bottom of the 3 grooves correspond to 3 acceptable reference levels found, minimum, medium and maximum, for the penetration of a weld ribbon in the thickness of the wall of a sleeved tube equivalent to the reference assembly. 4 figs
