Experience with reshufflings at Belgium's Doel
Description
To minimize the duration of the core reloading operation, core reshuffling has been used at the Doel and Tihange plants as far as practical, instead of a full core unloading and further reloading. Additional time savings can be achieved by optimizing the core reshuffling sequences. For the selection of the shortest overall reshuffling sequence, the CORAPS code applies artificial intelligence to the search process. 2 figs
