The ''third-element-added'' isotope-separation process using thermal diffusion

  • 1. Toyama Univ. (Japan). Faculty of Science

Description

The possibility of 3rd-elements(s)-added separation was demonstrated by the Ne-added system and the system in which both Ne and He are added (H2/HD/D2 system). Results better than expected were obtained in the latter system. For an estimation of the separation in the steady state, the modified Waldmann equation was revised for multicomponents. The equation was determined to be reliable. (author)
