Description

The off-site Accident Consequence Assessment (ACA) estimates the radiological consequences after accidental releases of radionuclides from nuclear power plant into atmosphere. The contamination of air and ground surface is the first physical process during the environmental transport. The space and time behaviour of radionuclide concentrations determines the dose accumulation in population and therefore comprehensive documentation of ACA should contain tables or graphical representations of frequency distributions of activity concentrations. This paper presents these frequency distributions computed by the RODOS expert system for partial melt, one of the most severe accident at CANDU-600. (authors)
