Investigation into the structure of niobium monocrystals after rolling and long high-temperature annealing
- 1. AN SSSR, Chernogolovka (Russian Federation). Inst. Fiziki Tverdogo Tela
Description
Structure of niobium monocrystals (001) [110] after rolling (degree of deformation 95%) and long-term high-temperature annealing was investigated by the method of transmission electron microscopy. It was revealed that niobium monocrystals preserved initial orientation during rolling. Monocrystalline niobium belts are not recrystallized under high-temperature annealing, but the process of polygonization with formation of sub-boundaries with different structure and composition takes place in them. 6 refs., 7 figs
