Organisation for radiation protection. The organisational arrangements for advice on radiation protection and how to deal with a suspected case of overexposure
Description
The organisational arrangements for radiation protection in an establishment such as a hospital will involve the appointment of a Radiation Protection Adviser and one or more Radiation Protection Supervisors. These individuals, together with the heads of the departments concerned, will draw up written systems of work and Local Rules to ensure safe practices. This may entail the designation of certain places as controlled or supervised areas. (Author)
