Description

For geometrical reconstruction of events, registered on two films, in the space of magnetic spark spectrometer the mathematical model of the spectrometer optics is constructed. It couples measurements of fiducial marks on film with space position in order to find parameters of the system which are the optical constants. The search of spectrometer optical constants is an iterative process during which the parameters in question are found in a modified model taking into account the distortion of measurements and distortion in space due to stretching of film, shifting marks in magnetic field and optical distortion. The optical constants found allow one to achieve high accuracy reconstruction of fiducial marks and particle tracks and to determine the momentum and angular resolution
