Possible mechanism of gaps formation in the asteroid belt

Description
The hypothesis about getting out the gaps for the resonance asteroids after their approaches with Jupiter is argued. Such approaches are possible when the eccentricities of the orbits have enough high valUes. The results of numeral calculations of the librating orbit evolutions near the 1/3 resonance are presented. It is proved that the eccentricity of any asteroidal orbit falling in the gap, can in the course of evolution increase making possible the approaches of this asteroid with Jupiter
