Evidence for detour transitions in internal bremsstrahlung of 90Y
- 1. Erlangen-Nuernberg Univ., Erlangen (Germany, F.R.). Physikalisches Inst.
Description
The circular polarization of internal bremsstrahlung of 90Y was measured as a function of photon energy. High accuracy could be achieved by use of a Ge(Li) detector for the detection of the γ-quanta Compton-scattered on magnetized iron. The experimental results demonstrate that detour transitions as they are taken into account in the calculations of Ford and Martin contribute to the internal bremsstrahlung of 90Y. (Auth.)
