Description
Catalytic recombiners have been developed for the detetion of hydrogen accumulations. Ignition coils with independent eletric power supplies cause even minute amounts of hydrogen to burn off before dangerous volumes can accumulate. (orig./HP)
Abstract (German)
Zum permanenten Abbau von Wasserstoff unterhalb der Zuendgrenze wurden katalytisch arbeitende Rekombinatoren entwickelt. Zusaetzlichen H2-Abbau bewirken Funkenzuender, wenn lokal die Zuendgrenze geringfuegig ueberschritten werden sollte. Beide Komponenten funktionieren unabhaengig vom Stoerfallverlauf und benoetigen keine externe Energieversorgung. (orig./HP)Additional details
