Description

This road-map addresses electric power, heat and cold, hydrogen, natural gas networks and their associated storage means, as well as their couplings to be developed within the frame of energy transition and of associated evolutions regarding energy production modes or usages. It more particularly focuses on electric power networks, R and D activities to be developed, their smartness and flexibility which can be applied to other energy types. More particularly, it identifies technical (network planning and architecture, integration of renewable energies, system exploitation, inter-dependencies between infrastructures, interaction between energy networks, peculiarities of heat and cold networks), regulatory and standard-related, economic, public policy, organisational and societal deadlocks. For each of these deadlocks, R and D needs are identified, and solutions, expected performance, and cost objectives are evoked.
