Process for the total recovery of uranium, yttrium, thorium and rare earths contained in an organic phase

Description

In this process the organic phase, obtained by solvent extraction, is contacted with a miscible solvent (at least partially) and a precipitating agent. A liquid phase and a precipitate containing U, Y, Th and R.E. are obtained. The process can be used for recovering these elements from wet process phosphoric acid

Abstract (French)

Ce procede et caracterise en ce que l'on met en contact la phase organique avec un diluant miscible au moins partiellement a cette phase et un agent precipitant. On obtient une phase liquide et un precipite comprenant les elements precites. Ce procede peut s'appliquer a la recuperation de ces elements a partir d'un acide phosphorique de voie humide
