Eco information 5. Influence of operation of the plants GovCo, a.s., SE-EBO and SE-VYZ on the environment within May 2006

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V1 NPP and Bohunice Radioactive Waste Processing Centre (VYZ) (GovCo, a.s.) as well as of V2 NPP (SE, a.s.) are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere and hydrosphere within a May 2006 (for NPP V1, VYZ, and NPP V2, respectively) were: 0.610 TBq (V1), 0 Bq for VYZ and 0.988 TBq (V2) of rare gases; 1.738 MBq (V1), 0.826 MBq (VYZ A1) and 0,0414 MBq (VYZ MSVP), and 2.126 MBq (V2) of aero-soles; 0.636 MBq (V1)and 0.069 MBq (V2) of iodine; 1.291 MBq (V1), 7.509 (VYZ) MBq and 5.494 MBq (V2) of corrosive and fission products, and 1.249 TBq (V1) 171.552 GBq (VYZ) and 2.300 TBq (V2) of tritium. For the period January - May 2006 these radioactive effluents represent for rare gases 3.011 TBq (0.151% of annually limit (AL)) for V1 and 4.162 TBq (0.208% AL) for V2; for aerosols 20.841 MBq (0.026% of AL) for V1, 4.133 MBq (0.440% of AL) for VYZ A1, 0.445 MBq (0.148% of AL) for VYZ MSVP, and 4.745 MBq (0.006% of AL) for V2; for corrosive and fission products 16.648 MBq (0.128% of AL) for V1, 15.922 MBq (0.037% of AL) for VYZ and 12.290 MBq (0.095 of AL) for V2; and for iodine 2.657 MBq (0.004% of AL) for V1, and 0.261 MBq (0.0004% of AL) for V-2; and for tritium it is 3.830 TBq (12.906% of AL) for V1, 194.425 GBq (1.944% of AL) for VYZ, and 3.074 TBq (15.372% of AL) for V2
