Extreme value analysis of meteorological parameters observed during the period of 1978-2014 at Rawatbhata Rajasthan Atomic Power Station site

  • 1. Health Physics Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai (India)

Description

This paper presents a study on extreme value analysis of meteorological parameters at Rawatbhata site. Extreme values of each parameter vary from year to year. One can expect an extreme value per year for each parameter. The set of extreme values is subjected to statistical analysis to obtain probability distribution of extreme values. These values are useful to establish design basis values to assure safety of structures with regard to stress due to extreme weather values
