Answer by Peter Piazzesi, Planning and Controlling Manager: the nuclear power plants have the highest usability (almost 100%) of all electricity production technologies together with high electricity production volumes. Operational and production costs (fuel, maintenance and repairs, overheads, personnel, Ra waste and spent fuel handling) in the nuclear power plants are significantly lower than the electricity price, even in the current situation when the electricity market prices reach their historical minimum values.
