Description

Fiber is a kind of medium fibre wave-guide to transmit signal wave. It has several merits during transmission. First, the fiber transmission cost is low, which is 1000 times lower than coaxial-cable or more. Second, the transmission band is very broad, which can be higher than 10 GHz. Third, because fiber is insulator, it will not be affected by electromagnetic influence and can afford 500 high voltage. Forth, the problem of insulating and grounding of the terminal measurement equipment and the signal to be tested can be well solved by the fiber transmission. (authors)
