Effect of silicic acid on isolation kinetics of boric acid

Description
Effect of silicic acid concentration on the precipitate specific resistance value in the course of boric acid suspension filtration, on boric acid filtration rate and H3BO3 crysal size is studied. It is shown, that silicic acid concentration increase in a solution, produced after sulfuric acid opening of eluvial borate ores, results in the decrease of boric acid crystallization and jointing process efficiency and the obtained prooduct quality. Possibility of silicic acid removal from borate oare sulfuric acid opening mother liquors is demonstrated
