Description
P-violating neutron spin rotation angle is being measured in the p-wave resonance of 139La with a new apparatus developed at KEK. Present status and preliminary results of the measurement is reported in this paper. The value of parity mixing matrix element in the compound state deduced from the result is consistent with the theoretical prediction within the experimental errors. copyright 1995 American Institute of Physics
