The effect of additives on the structure of the vanadium oxide-molybdenum oxide catalyst
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Khimicheskoj Fiziki
Description
The effect of additions on vanadkum oxide-molybdenum oxide catalysts has been investigated and it has been shown that, depending on the nature of the cation introduced, pairs of vanadium ions are formed, distroted oxygen tetrahedra appear around the vanadium ions (a structure of the type of vanadium bronzes), and the oxygen lattice is compacted after the introduction of multicharged ions. The introduction of another type of additive (sodium phosphate) leads to the appearance of new chemical compounds (of the type of sodium molybdophosphate)
