Stablized zirconia
Description
This patent describes a stabilized tetragonal zirconia composition. It is comprised on a molar basis of: between 0.3-1.3 percent dysprosia; between 7.0-8.5 percent ceria; a third stabilizer selected from the group consisting of between 0.5-0.8 percent yttria; between 0.8-1.5 percent titania; and mixtures thereof containing up to a combined total of 2.3 percent and the balance being tetragonal zirconia
