Description
Following the successful replacement of steam generators at Dampierre 1 in 1990 and Bugey 5 in 1993, Framatome undertook the Gravelines 1 steam generator changeout in April 1994, completing it in world record time. The company is now well prepared for a series of steam generator changeouts which this year includes Saint-Laurent B1 and Dampierre 3. Framatome will also collaborate with Siemens on replacements at Tihange 1 in Belgium, Ringhals 3 in Sweden and Asco 1 in Spain. (author)
