Hadron structure with string-junction and large momentum transfer phenomena

Description

When the baryon contains a junction of three strings, each having one urbaryon at the end, the junction is required to be represented by a conserved line in hadron reactions similarly to the urbaryon. Taking notice of the similarity, we propose a simple model to give the invariant amplitude at large momentum transfers, which is crossing symmetric. Every urbaryon and junction suffers an impact of large transferred momentum under the factorization assumption. Our model reproduces the behaviour of the electromagnetic form factor Gsub(M)--(q2)-1, Gsub(B)--(q2)-2, of the structure function νW2sup(M)--(1-x)1, νW2sup(B)--(1-x)3, and of the elastic differential cross section at fixed angles d sigma/dt(MM)--s-6, d sigma/dt(MB)--s-8, d sigma/dt(BB, anti BB)--s-10, where M and B respectively denote the meson and the baryon. Our results on elastic angular distribution, in particular the ratios at c.m.s. 900 of d sigma/dt(K+p)/d sigma/dt(K-p) and of d sigma/dt(pp)/d sigma/dt(anti pp), are also satisfactory. (auth.)
