Description

The so-called stationary path integrals formalism is presented for the one-dimensional time-independent Schroedinger equation. The conceptual framework of the formalism is similar to that used by Feynman in his formulation of quantum mechanics. The relationship between the solution of the time-independent one-dimensional Schroedinger equation and boundary conditions (the values of the wave function are given at two different points) is given in a simple way by the so-called transition probability amplitudes of particles along trajectories.
