Numerical simulation of the gyroturbulent oscillations of X-ray sources luminosity

Description

A nonlinear model of disk accretion of perfect turbulent gas onto a massive center is presented. A numerical solution of the problem of unsteady rotation of a gas surrounding a compact object is obtained. Strong oscillations of the structure of the flow generated by the 'gyroturbulent instability' are found. It is quite possible that these oscillations are responsible for quasiperiodic luminosity variability of X-ray sources
