O(4)-invariant solutions in the Yang-Mills theory with scalar fields
Description
Basing on the 't Hooft representation, the correspondence is established between a class of gauge fiels of nonabelian Higgs model and solutions of scalar field theory with nonlinear interaction. The existence of O(4)-invariant solutions of instanton type is proved. An explicit example of non selfdual instanton is constructed as well as instanton-antinstanton and meron-instanton pairs
