Description
In this paper, the use of Doppler-broadened annihilation lineshape as a technique to probe spin transition in a classical spin transition complex Fe(Phen)2(NCS)2 in solid state is demonstrated. This technique is simple in application compared to other established techniques such as Moessbauer, susceptibility measurement, ESR etc. In addition it provides correlated information on local electron density and momentum distribution.
