Photomeson production nuclear transparencies and simple direct reactions
Description
Results from experiment and the calculated trends for direct processes such as (gamma,n) reactions are shown to strongly support a volume production model of photomeson production at the intermediate energies; the deviations from a linear dependence of the cross-sections on the whole nuclear volume is imputable to reabsorption phenomena in nuclear matter
