Description
Purpose: it dose not exist a lot data in literature on the prognosis value of the multi-focality in the breast cancer. The principal objective of this study was to analyze the results in term of locoregional recurrence in a cohort of patients having or not received an external radiotherapy after a mastectomy for a multifocal breast cancer inferior or equal to 5 cm without ganglions damage. Conclusion: this study shows that external radiotherapy after mastectomy does not seem to have an impact on the local control nor on the survival of patients suffering of a multifocal breast cancer superior to 5 cm without ganglion damage.
