Finite-temperature simulation based on the Lanczos algorithm for low-dimensional strongly correlated electron systems; High-temperature superconducting cuprates

  • 1. Quantum Beam Science Directorate, Japan Atomic Energy Agency, 1-1-1 Kouto, Sayo, Hyogo 679-5148 (Japan)

Description

The Lanczos algorithm is applied to calculate some finite-temperature physical quantities, as well as the ground-state ones. We introduce the finite-temperature Lanczos algorithm and apply it for some current problems in the low-dimensional strongly correlated electron systems; the charge stripe, the pseudo-gap and phonon-induced anomalous ARPES spectrum in the high-Tc superconducting cuprates.
