Description
Many binary and ternary magnetic rare earth transition metal alloy powders have been synthesized by the oxygen-reduction-diffusion technique (ORD). Several levels of hydrogen concentration have been achieved by using chemical reactions where nascent hydrogen produced next to the surface of the alloy grains was observed to diffuse into the core of the particles at a temperature close to the ambient.
