Non-parametric pulsar analysis in the satellite reference frame for long duration experiments; application to the X-gamma ray synchronization of the pulsar NP-0532 as observed by the COS-B satellite
Description
The paper describes a non-parametric analysis to obtain the phase histogram of a pulsar as seen in the satellite reference frame; the method requires only an approximate knowledge a priori of the pulsar period and of the position of the satellite. Results are presented on the derivation of the X-ray (2-12 keV) and gamma-ray (E > 50 MeV) pulsar phase histograms relative to NP-0532 as observed by the COS-B satellite. (Auth.)
