Public involvement in remedial work programs at historic low-level radioactive waste sites, recent Canadian experience
Description
The Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management Office (LLRWMO) has, as part of its mandate, a requirement to address public information needs concerning low-level radioactive wastes. One aspect of this involves informing and consulting with the public in conjunction with remedial work projects carried out by the Office. This paper discusses the evolution of this public consultation process
