DC ion source and neutral beam injector development at Chalk River
Description
This report describes the present status of high-current dc ion source development at the Chalk River Nuclear Laboratories. The Ion Source Test Stand and experiments with a prototype duoPIGatron reflex arc source for hydrogen beams are described. Initial experiments with low current neutral beams and with heavy ion beams are also described. (author)
