Een geintegreerde strategie voor schone lucht in Europa is nodig om de lucht zo schoon te krijgen dat er geen nadelige effecten meer zijn voor de gezondheid van mensen en voor de natuur. Om dit te bereiken heeft de Europese Commissie onlangs het programma Clean Air for Europe (CAFE) gestart.
