The technology of chemical and electrochemical nickel-plating of metal surface

Description

The technology of chemical and electrochemical nickel-plating of metal surface has been studied. The change of current density, decreasing of ph solution in the bath, decreasing of concentration of nickel ions in the electrolyte have been studied in laboratory conditions. It has been defined that such change leads to increasing of cathode polarization and increasing of hydrogen yield. In this case, the current density yield of nickel is correspondingly reduced. Composition and operating mode of sulfuric acid electrolytes in electrochemical nickel plating have been defined.
