Present status of IBIC (ion beam injection and cyclotron heating) experiment
Description
The construction of IBIC machine was started in 1959 April. It was completed in 1961 December. This machine is an experimental apparatus of rather large scale described in J. Phys. Soc. Japan 15, 906∼916 (1960). The present vacuum condition is not sufficient (∼10-5 mm Hg). Efforts of improving this apparatus are now being made. The constitution of the apparatus and preliminary experimental results are reported here. (author)
