Absolute age of rocks in Saatly superdeep well SG-1(5000-8200 m)
Description
Analysis of age of 51 basalt samples from the Saatly superdeep well (azerbaijan) is carried out through the R-Ar-method. The sample were taken within the depth interval of 5000-8200 m. The Rb-Sr isochrones proved the Urassic age (150±10 mln years). The 97Sr/86Sr initial calculated ratio constitutes 0.70396±0.0008. 8 refs., 1 tab
