Multilinearity principle in the dissolution inhibition of alloys

  • 1. Rostovskij-na-Donu Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Rostov-na-Donu (Russian Federation)

Description

The dependence of the influence of inhibitors on the dissolution rate of binary alloys components, selectivity coefficient, period of selective dissolution and effective thickness of diffusion layer on the temperature and potential were ascertained using heterogeneous multilinear function. The ratio between the constants of reaction series for the above-mentioned chracteristics was found. Isoparametric combinations were analyzed. Experimental testing of the ratios obtained was carried out using by way of exsample Ni20Zn alloy dissolution in chloride solution with addition of 1,2-dimethyl-3-octyloxymethyl- 5-ethoxybenzimidazoleum chloride, which is inhibitor of dissolution of nickel and the alloy components, but it does not affect the dissolution of pure zinc
